Longarm Machine Rentals

Services

*Machine rental is by appointment with a 2 hour minimum.
*There is a cancellation fee of $30 for no-shows or if cancellation is less than 24 hours prior to appt.
*I reserve the right to approve thread types. I know the machine and the threads that work the best on it.
*The machine will be cleaned, oiled and ready for you to thread and load your quilt.
*Hourly charge will begin at time of appt (even if you are late) or when you start with the machine if
starting early. This includes pinning/attaching your quilt to machine. (Zippers will save you a great deal
of time.)
$27.00 for set of zippers. They reduce the time needed to load the quilt and can be put on at home to
save rental time. You can simply unzip your quilt if you need to leave before it is finished and then eas-ily zip it back on at your next appt.
*Thread. I will have thread available to purchase or “use” of Superior Brand. If you choose to “use”
mine rather than purchasing a whole cone I will charge by the number of bobbins used. You can choose
to wind your own bobbins or use prewound bobbins. I prefer the performance of the prewounds. This
will be $1.50 per bobbin for Sew Fine. If using a speciality thread there will be an extra charge.
*Needles can be purchased for $1/needle. I require a new needle to be used at the start of each quilt to
optimise your quilting experience.
*Bobbin Case $15. You must have your own.

You must take the certification class on how to operate the machines prior to
your first rental. This class will be 4+ hours long, depending on your skill level.
Cost of the class will be $75.00 and will include learning how to load your quilt
on to the machine, free motion quilting using free motion, pantographs, and rul-ers. There will be an additional class required for the use of the compuquilter.
